About us: The Austin Tour Guide Association was begun early in 2006 by a small group of Capital City-based trip leaders who recognized their mutual need to share information, enhance their knowledge, solve common problems, and raise awareness of their profession in the travel industry. All ATGA members are professional, highly educated individuals from varied backgrounds with experience conducting tours for visitors from all over the world. We provide a variety of excursions in the Austin metropolitan area, such as:

Walking Tours of Congress Avenue and the Bremond Block
in conjunction with the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau

Itineraries may last from several hours to several days. Some of our members work year-round and others work seasonally. Most conduct local tours, but several are qualified to lead tours in other cities and states as well. Rates vary from $35 or more per hour to $15 or more per person, depending on group size, duration, and other factors.
