Judy Alloway is a native Texan and a longtime resident of Austin. She moved here in 1976 to attend The University of Texas at Austin and, like many graduates, could not bring herself to leave the beautiful City of the Violet Crown. Her tours are vibrant, fun, and educational. She can customize tours that encompass Austin and the surrounding areas and also provide orientation tours for clients interested in relocating to Austin. Before becoming a tour guide she was a writer and editor for Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine and a lecturer in the School of Journalism at The University of Texas. A native son of the Lone Star State, Billy Brookshire grew up on a farm in Central Texas and has lived in Austin since 1977. By trade, Billy is a training consultant and public speaker who has presented workshops throughout the U.S. and Canada. He also enjoys wearing strange clothing, disgorging boot-loads of Texas trivia on unsuspecting bystanders, and always taking time to laugh and have fun. Barbara has lived in the Austin area since the early 80s. She has raised her family in Austin and is a former second grade teacher in the Leander School District, a suburb of Austin. Austin-born Harrison Eppright is a 16-year staff member of the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau, where he serves as Manager of Visitor Services. Recognised as ACVB Employee of the Year in 2008, Harrison operates out of the Austin Visitor Center on E. 6th Street. He specializes in architectural and social history, especially that of the East Austin African-American Cultural Heritage District. Harrison also leads walking tours of downtown and the Driskill Hotel.

Elizabeth is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. As a child she developed her love of history, folklore, and cemeteries as she explored the mining camps and ghost towns of Southern Nevada with her father. An Austin resident since 2000, she received a degree in Cultural Anthropology and History from The University of Texas at Austin. Elizabeth has more than 20 years of experience coordinating and giving tours both in the United States and abroad. Since 2006, she has coordinated and conducted historical and educational tours for adults and school groups at the Texas Capitol Complex. On Saturday nights, Elizabeth will be found leading spooky strolls with Austin Ghost Tours.

Certified as a tour guide by the ATGA, Elizabeth’s versatility allows her to offer a variety of tours to meet your individual needs and interests. She offers both walking tours and step-on guide services for both private and group tours.

Patty has extensive experience in the travel industry.  She has been guiding student and adult groups throughout the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East since the 1980s.  Currently, she is a step-on guide in Austin and the Texas Hill Country.  A retired teacher, Patty prefers tours that highlight history, literary interests, gardens, wineries, and shopping.  She lives in Marble Falls, about 40 miles from Austin in the Texas Hill Country and so is available for tours in those surrounding areas.
